David Babinet Baritone Opera Star:
From the stage of the LA Opera to the Cantors Pulpit.
In addition to Opera, Mr Babinet's diverse repertoire includes Broadway, Yiddish, Cantorial, Ladino and Israeli melodies.
After completing his education at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with his Masters, he began his career as a Portland Opera young artist and LA Opera Resident Artist eventually singing Marcelo on the main stage of the LA Opera.
He also sang many other leading opera roles such as Valentin in Faust with Opera San Luis Obispo, and Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro with Opera San Jose; he also appeared with Opera Colorado, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Chicago Opera Theatre, Teatro del Gilio in Lucca, Italy and The New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv.
He regularly moves audiences with his beautiful voice in concert performance and he officiates prayer services in synagogues around the United States.
When not performing, David lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and two kids where he runs a busy company providing high end bars for private events.
