Recipe Type: Parve Dairy Meat Pesach
Name of Recipe: Yaakovah's Zebra Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup cocoa
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
confectioners sugar for coating
Directions:
Combine sugar and oil. Add cocoa. Add vanilla and baking powder.
Alternate egg, beat well, 1/2 cup flour, beat well until all are added and blended.
Take dough by teaspoon full and roll into balls. Roll in confectioners sugar.
Place on greased parchment paper or greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated, 375° oven. Bake 7 minutes and rotate pan 180 degrees, then bake an additional 7 minutes (total bake time 14 minutes).
Cookies will "crack" on top. Allow to cool.
These cookies are chewy and delicious and look beautiful on a tray.
